This weekend at #ACI17 included some of the best and worst moments in my skating journey. Skating a beautiful short program, regaining a level of performance that we haven’t had for years, was a wonderful moment. Followed the next day, by the terrible moment(s) of the long program. It was a frustrating and confusing evening, and I woke up this morning with a pit in my stomach, hoping it was all just a bad dream. But it’s not. It’s reality. And now it’s our job to figure out where we’ve gone wrong with this long program, and make it right. Maybe that’s just part of our journey. It’s not the fun part. The fun part was the short program. But it’s a necessary part of our sport. Challenges make us grow and going through these experiences only make those beautiful moments all the more meaningful. #onwardsandupwards #cestlavie #roadtopyeongchang #toughdayattheoffice
