Most of the trees in #Yosemite #NationalPark in #California are evergreen, so #fall usually isn’t too dramatic. Still, big-leaf maples, black oaks, Pacific dogwoods and other deciduous trees tend to be showy around mid-October. With fewer visitors than the summer, searchers can take their time looking for a touch of gold or a flash of orange. Finding an autumn view like this along the Merced River is well worth the effort.
