Photo by @taylorglenn // This morning at Deadvlei in the Namib Desert. I've been wanting to visit this place for myself ever since I first saw an image of it. It is bizarre and wonderful and no photograph can really do it justice. You simply need to stand here and watch the magic as the light crawls across the vlei. It is surrounded by some of the tallest sand dunes in the world (300+ meters) and the trees are believed to have died 600-700 years ago.
