I frequent my local hardware store on an almost daily basis. As a result, I’ve got to know the employees pretty well and felt like we’ve reached that point where I can start making PG-13 jokes with them instead of just “child-friendly jokes.” I was wrong for feeling that. To the 50 something year old man who helped me as I bought a ton of paint and asked what I plan to do with it...I’m sorry you believed me when I said I’m painting my entire body for a self portrait shoot. In hindsight, I can’t say I’m surprised that disgusted you.
