November is Adopt A Senior Pet Month. Before we started fostering BB, I was looking to adopt a 10 year-old papillon and a few other seniors (More story in my book) Interesting how fate works, none of the adoptions worked out and today we have BB. (Which I am thankful for!) The point is, I originally wanted to adopt a senior dog because I have the softest spot for older pooches in my heart, after living with my favorite grey faces, Jazzy and Cooper--the calmest and the sweetest pair I could ever have asked for. If you are looking, consider adopting an older dog. Most of them are already potty trained and so much more peaceful! I just went through a puppy stage with BB so I can really speak from my own experience! ?
