Spent my Saturday morning baking this cake that wraps all those Autumn feels inside: earthly flavor of buckwheat flour, woody spiciness of cinnamon that welcomes the holidays season, tenderized by dollops of quince jam in the middle (it’s there even if not very visible).
The recipe is from @valentinahortus’s cookbook #NaturallyVegetarian. And I’m so happy that this cake’s gonna be my breakfast tomorrow morning with a big coffee! It was also my #merenda today! (Even a bit of lunch, since I burnt the rice!).
