The African penguin (Scientific name:
Spheniscus demersus) is found on the coast of South Africa and Namibia. The colony at The Boulders in Table Mountain National Park is looking svelte. This season’s chicks are molting and this waddle of flightless birds looks to be well fed. ?
We won’t be seeing penguins when visit Queen Maud Land as we will be visiting the interior of the continent.
