I'm devastated to have to tell you this news. ??This E litter of kittens at Lake Haven Rescue were all declawed on Friday, November 24th. ??
My mom had sent an email to this director, Cheryl McCloud, at Lake Haven and told her that she would personally find homes for all the kittens if Cheryl didn't declaw them. But Cheryl ignored her pleas and went ahead with their spay/neuter/declaws on the 24th.
I'm asking all of you to please sign and share my petition to inspire this director to just STOP declawing the kittens and cats she gets in. Let's try to inspire her to just start campaigns to educate the public in her area about the awful truth about declawing and how it harms the health and well being of all cats. Let's try to inspire her to realize that if she educates the public about the simple, commonsense, and humane alternatives, then all of her supporters and the public won't want this barbaric, cruel, and mutilating procedure done to their beloved cats. ??
It is just sad that way too many cat owners in the Midwest and other parts of the country are stuck in the dark ages about this inhumane procedure! #Ignorance
