The owner of the dog team in peril is Peter Aviiki and here he tries to resuscitate one of his drowned huskies after the whole team fell through thin sea ice. He could have lost his entire team of ten dogs but luckily these incredibly capable hunters were able to save the rest of the team. This is part of an assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック and @natgeopristineseas about the effects of climate change on wildlife and this culture. It comes out in January.
