The #NationalBisonRange in Western #Montana is a diverse ecosystem of grasslands, Douglas fir and ponderosa pine forests, riparian areas and ponds. The Range offers incredible opportunities to see and photograph several of the largest mammal species in the country including elk, mule and whitetail deer, bighorn sheep, black bears and of course the majestic #bison. While visiting the @usfws range, John Fecteau was fortunate to photograph this lone bull in late afternoon light against the awesome backdrop of the Mission Mountain range.
