This video went viral at least 3 times. Oprah, Anderson Cooper, the BBC all did stories on him as a result of seeing this piece we created. Rapper, @joynerlucas, even wrote a song about him. How I found about about Ross Capicchioni was really simple. I was in Houston, Texas for a make-a-wish event. I was surrounded by a bunch of young kids, taking pictures and signing stuff when I hear from my side, “hey man, I know you guys are doing those Aberrican Me segments. I wanna tell you my story.” And I kind of dismissed it like, “yeah, okay. What’s your story?” And then he just said, “I got shot 3 times, my head almost got blown off.” And he takes off his hat and sure enough, there’s a scar on top of his head that looks like he got scalped. And all of a sudden he had my attention... And he told me his story... the one you’re about to see right now after you click the LINK IN BIO. It has got to be one of the best told, most inspirational stories about the strength of the human spirit and the will to live that I have ever, ever, ever heard in my life and after meeting Ross that day, my life was never the same.
