Last year was a season of echinacea flowers - it’s just what came out of the movement between the pen and my hand. This year dandelions happened to appear, which are packed in nutrients, have healing properties, are a delectable treat and hold magical powers for the heart’s wishes.

This morning has been for giving thanks to the chapter behind as well as the chapter at present with some sage offering, a beautiful ritual box with oils and tinctures by @rootsandcrownspdx, my favorite spicy wintery hot tea, the most thoughtful Gem & Flower Essence by @jessicaseacrest and my beloved Sendak Artist Roll, Shale journal and stacks of rings by @pegandawl. I love that my creative space is full of treasures made by kindred spirits who I’ve had the blessing to get to know through this space. All the more reason why I’m proud to have grown up around and will also always be passionate to #supportsmallbusiness.

To the makers, dreamers, creatives, darers, the quiet ones, observers, servers, the thoughtful, sensitive, bold, gentle, to the poets, artists, innovators, scientists, book lovers, tech advancers, to the wise, indigenous, elders, young, mothers, fathers, teachers, inquisitive, different, odd, overlooked, praised, humble, free spirited and everyone in between: I hope today and all days bring your heart warmth, meaning, adventure, fulfillment, wisdom, gentle lessons, grace, goodness, health, flourish and love. May we remember that our value comes from inside of us and not from others or outward factors. May each day be a first day, a new day, a new year. ❤️
