I was having a chat with brand strategist @mychronicles__ about the idea that when *given the choice and the information*- that many consumers choose products that cause less harm to all living beings, our habitat, and our future-even though it’ll almost always cost us more money.

“An example of a powerful social campaign, presented at the Fashion Revolution Day in Berlin a few years ago.
A simple vending machine was transformed to raise awareness of the industry’s poor working conditions: a person could buy a t-shirt for €2. After inserting money and choosing a size, every customer would see the life-threatening working conditions that women and young children are subjected to, paid only 13 cents per hour. People were then given a choice to buy the T-shirt or donate to @fash_rev, resulting in around 90% donating instead of buying. Conscious choices are key to transforming the future of the fashion industry.
