Horrible, horrible, horrible conditions on my last trip to Croatia. In one month of rainy and cold days, I'm actually pretty happy to finish of a project I bolted in Vrulja in total of 5 tries. It got a name after delicious Dalmatian food "Popaj pica", 8c and it's 37 meters long. Pretty slabby though as well. ?
My main project was of course the big cave route, that I got surprisingly close. Most of the time the crux of first 8b part was wet and when it got dry, temperatures dropped insanely down. After that, the main crux got wet and I was struggling to find a different method with not using the crucial hold. When I finally reached my high point and felt like it might happen, the rain stroke again. In one month of hoping for a send, I might had 3 days of okay weather. So all I want in 2018, are good conditions ?
