We are saddened to learn about the passing of legendary curator #KynastonMcShine (1935-2018). One of the most influential curators of the past century, he was responsible for groundbreaking exhibitions including “Primary Structures” (1966), “Information” (1970), and “Marcel Duchamp” (1973), Duchamp’s career retrospective which was co-curated between @ニューヨーク近代美術館 and @フィラデルフィア美術館 with Anne d’Harnoncourt. Kynaston was a great friend of the Museum and a source of encouragement for generations of curators. He will be dearly missed. #RIP
