This little monkey woke up refreshed and so happy this morning!

All of my other 4 babes were sleeping in their own room in their crib and thru the night by 6 or 7 months. But, Beau being our 5th and most likely our last had a bit of a different road.
.
Not only did we move his crib into our room but we moved him into our bed. I had never done the co sleeping/family bed before. Since he was my last baby I really wanted to experience sleeping with him. While I cherished every yummy warm cuddle ( it’s the best!) I don’t think it was quite fair to him. He never learned to self soothe and therefore doesn’t know how to put himself back to sleep.

So, after many long sleepless nights on everyone’s part, Beau officially moved back into his room last night. With the help of @thenannyleague he started his first night of sleep training. He did amazingly well! Only woke up once as opposed to his usual 3-4 times a night. He looked so bright and chipper this am. And, mom and Dad got our first full night of sleep.

While I’m sad that at 10 months he is out of my bed and no longer my yummiest spooning partner I know this is the right thing for him.
