Some people have the stars lined up for them. For most of us, it's not so simple. Often times things may not turn out the way we'd have liked them to, but there's no way for us to control those outcomes. That's okay, what's meant to be will be, and everything happens for a reason. It is not our circumstances that define us, but how we decide to deal with those circumstances. Of course, fight your hardest for your dreams, don't give up easily, and put your whole heart into whatever you aspire to achieve. But don't let any disappointments be a cause for discord in your heart. We're human, it's okay to be sad at first, but if you know you've done your absolute best, have faith in what will be; accept what is; let go of what isn't meant to be. Life is unexpected. I have discovered that there are greater things waiting beyond those disappointments that you'll be able to see if you can learn to accept and embrace your position. Someone told me that people end up in places they never thought about, with people they never knew would make an impact on their life, and that we don't know what's on the other side of missed opportunities. Once I figured this out, I became a happier person living a happier life. There are so many things I'd still like to do, places I want to see, and people I have yet to meet. Everyone's journey is different, but everyone's journey has just started. Wherever you are right now and whatever you're going through, I wish you all the best. Good luck.
