本日はPORTER flagship storeで展開中の世界的に有名なフィギュアアーティスト「Michael Lau（マイケル・ラウ）」に製作を依頼したオリジナルフィギュアをご紹介いたします。彼のイデオロギーである「全てのキャラクターに“心”と“魂”を注ぐこと」と、吉田カバンの精神である「一針入魂」が共通し進行したプロジェクトです。独特の頭身バランスが特徴で、愛嬌溢れる顔・関節の細かいディテール、洋服の細部に至るまで技術力の高いファクトリーで丁寧に仕上げています。スペシャルな12インチフィギュアです。専用箱とディスプレイ用スタンドが付属します。 是非店頭でご覧ください。
マイケル・ラウ：イラストやペイント、コミックやフィギュアを手掛ける、香港を拠点に活動するアーティスト。学生時代から数多くの賞を受賞し、ストリートカルチャー系のデザイナーズトイのパイオニアとして名高い。彼の作品や世界観はデザイナー、ミュージシャン、トイメーカー、そして世界中のストリートシーンから注目を集めている。

Today we would like to introduce the original figure made by the world famous figure artist "Michael Lau", which we now carry at the PORTER flagship store. Michael Lau's ideology which is "putting heart and soul into every character" was in common with our spirit of "Heart and soul into every stitch", which brought us to proceed this project.
The figure is characterized by the unique balance of the head and body. The charming face, the fine details of the joints, and the uniform etc. has been neatly made at a high skilled factory. Michael Lau: A Hong Kong based artist who works on illustrations, paintings, comics, and figures who has been receiving many awards since he was a student. He is well known as a pioneer of designers’ toy in street culture. His works created based upon his understanding in the street culture became popular among those people worldwide as well as designers, musicians, and toy makers.
