Ericsson ‘Ericofon’ automatic telephone

Made by Ericsson in Sweden, Europe, 1958-1965 .

This Swedish-designed desk telephone, nicknamed the Cobra, has its dial in the base of the handset. .

It was designed in the 1940s, but production only began in the 1950s when tough, colour-fast ABS plastic became available. .

It was the world’s first commercial one-piece phone and is now considered a design classic.⠀⠀
