Photo by @FransLanting “Seabird City” More than two-thirds of the world’s black-browed albatrosses--some 500,000 pairs--breed in the Falkland Islands and this is one of the largest colonies on Steeple Jason Island where the birds nest so close together that many of them have to walk a long way to the edge of the colony to have enough of a runway for taking off.
