What an incredible afternoon! Thank you so much to @mindcharity for inviting me down to one of their spoken word sessions. I was terrified yet intrigued and loved every minute. A complete privilege to listen to all of the beautiful poetry and spoken word from today’s group. It takes a lot of courage to turn up to a group session like this and even more to speak in front of a room, especially when its words from the heart! Thank you Wander (who you can see in the red top being brilliant in one of the videos) for holding the group and being so supportive to everyone there. It was exhilarating and so connecting! I did build up the courage to read my own poem in the end too! I’m so proud to be an ambassador for this important charity. #mind #spokenword #mentalhealth #connection
