A mother sleeps with her children in the hallway of a Tanzanian cargo boat heading south on Lake Tanganyika. These crowded boats are packed with everything from bananas and soap to villagers and businessmen. I enjoyed traveling between the tiny fishing villages along the lake while assignment for the World’s Biggest Lakes and Climate story, viewable now in the March 2018 issue of @ナショナルジオグラフィック magazine and online.
