It will stand 260 meters from base to blade tip—that's 1 meter taller than NYC's famous 30 Rockefeller tower. With a 220 meter rotor diameter and blades as long as a football field, these massive turbines could power 16,000 homes and generate 67 gigawatt-hours per year, nearly 45% more energy than today's typical offshore wind turbine.
