In honor of #InternationalWomensDay, join curator @chermosa today at noon for a special tour of #TheDinnerParty by Judy Chicago. The 1974–79 masterwork combatted the erasure of women from mainstream historical narratives by celebrating the achievements of women throughout Western history. Carmen’s tour will include a discussion of art and feminism, including critiques of The Dinner Party, as well as the role of collective action. This tour is free with general admission and meets at noon in the first floor lobby. #womenshistorymonth
