The French designer has passed away at the age of 91, leaving behind a flourishing fashion house which Givenchy set up in 1955. Although he is gone, his legacy will never be forgotten, with his clothing acting as an infinite reminder of his skilful intricacy. It is undeniable that Givenchy’s close friend, Audrey Hepburn, played a massive part in the designer’s success. After creating her costumes for ‘Sabrina’, ‘Funny Face’ and ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’, Givenchy’s memory will always live on through film.
