I often show glimpses of when time slows down in between all the doing around here. I like keeping this space as a reminder to make it a priority to create that time for myself and for my son too. I don’t show the hectic parenting life, work life and the other aspects of adulting for no other reason than this is one of my outlets for inspiration and dreaming. I have enough bustling throughout each day as it is. So while it may seem like I virtually live in a cafe or leisurely journal at home for hours, it is far from my reality. I will say that I do make the time for it, especially on the days where I’m up to my ears in work deadlines or school projects with my son. I won’t be swallowed up by everything else that I don’t allow myself to stop for a moment to enjoy something as simple as a warm drink, or watching the sun peer through the leaves, read a book, write in my journal or fully enjoy the presence of another person.
