Eliminating a disease like #leprosy is hard – especially when no accurate diagnostic test exists. In many countries, a tissue or feather is simply used to detect areas of skin that have lost sensitivity. Only by diagnosing patients earlier we will be able to interrupt transmission and progress toward elimination.
