Wow Shaun! Best of luck to you. What an Amazing thing to do for charity! #Repost @shaunstafford ・・・ << PLEASE READ & SHARE >> - I’ve never found a challenge I couldn’t rise to... THIS COULD BE IT!!! - In a little over 6 weeks time I will be running a MARATHON UP MOUNT EVEREST!!! Why?!? - Firstly, to genuinely challenge myself, both physically & mentally, like I never have before... - This is something I am actually not sure I can do... first there is a 12 day trek to Everest Base Camp... then the small matter of running 26.2miles... at 5,500m of altitude (very low oxygen, hence the mask in the pic)... on incredibly tough mountain terrain... whilst not being built to run further than from the water fountain to the dumbbell rack!!! - I am doing this to hopefully enable a load of people to have a bit more faith & belief in themselves to accomplish things they might not think is possible... if a “bodybuilder” can run a marathon up Mt.Everest, what can you do if you really set your mind to it?!? - Also, I am trying to raise a lot of money for a very worthwhile charity in Nepal (@hccnepal ), helping young orphaned children break a cycle of poverty & dependence to become pillars & foundations for their local communities! Being a father myself & thinking of children, such as my boy, not having the best start in life breaks my heart... I see this as a great opportunity to be a change for good, make a real impact, & raise awareness of the work of an incredible charity! - So if any of this resonates with you at all, please support me on this journey & help me build some momentum for my challenge & help raise some resources for some very needy children! - Please share this & tag people who might also want to support me over the next two months as I tackle the biggest challenge of my life so far!
