This morning in #HongKong, on the final day of our Spring Sale Series, two works sold for over HK$200 million (US$26.5 million) each, when a Qing Dynasty Gold-Pink ‘Falangcai’ Bowl, made by Imperial Order for the Kangxi Emperor and unseen on the market for over 30 years, made HK$239 million (US$30.4 million), a price also achieved for two sets of Ming Dynasty Imperial Sutras, establishing a new auction record for a Buddhist manuscript.
