'Sunrise at #AngkorWat is one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences. You arrive in darkness and the temple slowly reveals itself like a natural theatrical performance. Yes, you are doing it alongside hundreds of other people (I was among a sea of tuk-tuks making their way to Angkor at 4am) but it’s so vast that you can turn a corner and be the only people there – until the monkeys wake up that is! We saved Angkor 'til last and did the other temples first.
