Tonight at the #BKArtistsBall, we honor Robert Gober and Donald Moffett and recognize their art and their commitment to each other and to social good. Their individual artistic explorations of sexuality, politics, nature, religion, and justice are profound and immensely influential, and the power of their poetic artistic practices grows as we face so many urgencies in the world. Both artists have been committed to supporting many causes, from Bob’s involvement in ACT UP to Don’s role as a founder of Gran Fury, as well as their philanthropic efforts in support of reproductive rights and social justice. We hope you can join us tonight as we celebrate these artists.
