This week we’re celebrating artwork made by artists when they were aged 16-25.

Sonia Dawn Boyce is a British Afro-Caribbean artist, living and working in London. This early work, made at 23 years old, explores ideas about British society in the 1980s, especially conflicting opinions about religious beliefs across different generations and cultures. The artist uses herself as the model for both figures in the work.
