This "Jeff Koons: Easyfun-Ethereal" catalogue documents the first seven large-scale paintings from Koons’s "Easyfun-Ethereal" series, which the Deutsche Guggenheim, Berlin, commissioned and exhibited in 2000. This unique copy has been boldly signed in marker by the artist on the first illustration in the catalogue.
The book includes an interview with Koons by David Sylvester and an essay by Robert Rosenblum, along with full-color reproductions of the mural-sized artwork that combines cutout photographs of packaged foods, fragments of faces, limbs, and hair, amusement park scenes, and paradisiacal landscapes into images of convulsive beauty.
