A boy in the remote village of Saadi in Eastern Nepal takes a break from his work to gaze north toward the 7,300 Himalayan summit of Chamlang. This Shamanistic Kulung Rai hamlet is located one valley to the east of the famed Everest region but sees very little tourism. From the little I witnessed while #onassignment for the @ナショナルジオグラフィック #TheLastHoneyHunter story the Hong river valley is equally as stunning in the intricacies of landscape and culture as it’s busy Khumbu neighbor.
