Nine years ago today our debut full length self titled album was released on @atlanticrecords . What a ride it was making that record! A collection of songs from my teen years and new ones. We stayed 19 months reeking havoc at the Oakwoods in Burbank Ca, lost an A&R Guy, gained another A&R Guy, found a producer, met and wrote with some legends, toasted many “here’s to us” highs n lows with cheap champagne ... all to capture this moment in time!
I remember driving in our Rv through Minneapolis on our way to Rochester when I heard “I Get Off” on the radio for the first time! What a wild nine years!! So much hard work and dedication has paid off! I have crossed so much off my bucket list since this album was released! Thank you to our team, our crew, all the radio stations, promoters and all the fans for taking a chance on a silly band called Halestorm. Countless shows, eps, tv appearances, and 4 full length albums later...we are still alive n kickin’ ...and it’s all because of you!
