WHAT AN AMAZING DAY IN OSLO.
I know this isn’t the most exciting picture in the world BUT Today possibly could be one of THE MOST Mega days in the Food Revolution in protecting child health and global food system ethics....I had the pleasure to do a talk to CEO Yngve Slyngstad and all his top team at the Norwegian Sovereign wealth fund ( who are they ?? i here you say.... well guys there the biggest investment fund in the whole wide world ? and guess what they invest in a whole load of food companies) I was there to talk about wether they should include nutrition and better farming standards as part of there investment guidelines?? Aka could they use there investments to effect and steer progress into making food healthier, more affordable & accessible , interestingly they do currently have robust guidelines for NOT investing in Tobacco , child labour, and promote the ethical use of water etc but currently they do don’t have any such guidelines on nutrition & health on there food investments.....sounds like a time for logical and positive change to me !! so watch this space guys I really think they could be incredibly instrumental in what our future looks like if they choose to use the power of there investments...and more than that this gigantic fund is owned by the Norwegian people and I do believe in them - We can do this guys .... anyway I’m shattered now but inspired I have loads more to share as well night night bless JOxx
