Photo by @ljohnphoto for @rippleeffectimages. Pheng Ley (mother) and Seng Eat (Grandmother), care for 8 months old, Vor Raksmey in the hallway of the overwhelmed National Pediatric Hospital. They are in Ward B – all respiratory patients. This ward is made for approx. 34 patients but is now overflowing with 64 and more coming by the hour. The mist has improved his breathing complicated by pneumonia.

Thanks to generous support from @Sony facilitated by @thephotosociety, @RippleEffectImages team members Lynn Johnson (@ljohnphoto) and Melanie Burford (@melburford) were able to document Operation ASHA (@operationasha) whose last mile delivery program insures that Cambodia’s most disadvantaged are able to adhere to the rigorous treatment regimen necessary to avoid relapses and the development of drug resistant TB. @RippleEffectImages provided @operationash with a film and photography showing the profound effectiveness of their initiatives.
