Mode makeup was created by mr. shu uemura in 1968 to free the “making of the face” from any inhibitions, and to develop makeup in a more imaginative way to extend the art. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of mode makeup, shu uemura atelier artists created their own artwork taking inspiration from mr. shu uemura's legendary mode makeup looks.✨? International atelier artist @kaylapark___ creates this look based on elements of both reality and idealism. The black is a reference to "Flaggy," which is a part of reality, while the dots give a mood of fantasy.
