This foot slip is the reason I won’t be climbing in the final here in Vail at the Boulder World Cup. In the Semi Final I flashed one boulder and got painfully close on another two. Not making it to the next round is frustrating but I am not disappointed with my climbing. I really got stuck in on the boulders today and I am walking away happy and motivated because I know I can get back up there! I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me on my journey through my recent finger injury and back to the World Cup stage. I still don’t feel like I’m satisfied with where I am at. It’s hard to get out there and compete knowing that but the only way I can truly know where I am at is by trying. I am more determined than ever to be the strongest, best climber I have ever been. .
