#NYTLoveCity | It’s the most intimate space of all: the bedroom. And @littlebrownmushroom took this photo of Paunice Savage, 55, and Patrick Savage, 50, in theirs at 4:57 a.m. on May 19. They’re among the couples he photographed in bed for @nytmag’s special issue about love in New York City. Paunice is a stylist, and Partrick’s a barber. They met in 1988 and now live on the block where one of Paunice’s favorite photographs, “A Great Day in Harlem,” was taken. “Patrick usually goes to bed before I do,” she said. “Almost every other night, he lays his head in my lap, and I comb his beard. Or I’ll give him a pedicure.” When they turn out the lights, she said, “we pretty much start out spooning.
