On this World Oceans Day weekend I really wish that more of our oceans looked like the Hanifaru marine reserve, especially during peak manta ray season. Being surrounded by hundreds of large reef mantas gave me a sobering glimpse of how the abundance of marine megafauna has declined dramatically in other parts of our oceans.
