Wandering off on what I believe was our final night in Hangzhou, I began slowly to realize I didn’t want to leave them. It was something I had often done on this assignment through China, walking off as a means to clear myself through distraction. Still in restlessness, I crossed over the bridge and got lost. Don’t know if I saw or even made any interesting images on this wandering, not even this of Hangzhou at dusk. But I did notice myself in the fellow sitting by the river bank, when in moments of solitude, we begin to see clearer, what is right before us.
