Ok folks. I really need your advice and input. ??As you know, I'm becoming a nonprofit soon and I have some big plans to try to educate the public about declawing. ??? This is a class about gaining insight into the mindset of human beings who condone declawing, EVEN after you have educated them about the facts about it, and how we can effectively wake them up to the awful truth about it. In a nutshell, your homework is to read this court transcript from a hearing last month that was all about my advocacy against declawing. It might take 10 minutes to read it. The declawing vet for this animal rescue was the impetus for filing this PPO that silenced me for 5 months.? What I need you to do is analyze the testimony from the judge, the lawyer (he also was a Circuit Court judge for 35 years), an animal rescue director, and a foster lady. I still have hope for humankind and believe somewhere in these transcripts are the keys to unlocking the door on how to get these kind of people to actually wake up and realize that declawing is inhumane, mutilating, never necessary, and always harms the long term health and well-being of a cat. ❤️ Some questions. A) Are their declawing vets deceiving them to believe declawing is ok as long as it is done at a young age and how can we get them to realize the awful truth? B) How can we get people like this to realize that by campaigns to educate the public about the humane alternatives and how declawing is cruelty and inhumane, there won't be a demand for declawed kitties. C) What type of educational campaigns will help in the worst areas of the country, like the Midwest, in regards to declawing? I ask you NOT to reach out to these people in any way!!! We need to study their perspective and mentality and use it to help the cause and end this cat cruelty. When you are mean or disrespectful, it hurts the cause, it is wrong, and in this case it hurt me.
