Happy Father’s Day to my very favorite person! Peter’s care and love for me and for our children amazes me on a daily basis. I’m grateful for his patience, his goofiness, and his unwavering dedication to the development of our kids’ hearts, souls and minds.

Marriage is hard and so is parenting. But they are both also joyous, hilarious, absurd, and profoundly soul expanding. I’m grateful for every hurdle and for every grace-filled gift. For every mountain top and every valley. For every loss and every gain. Because both the pain and the joy have been used to teach us how to grow in love.
