He is a photographer famous for 70's street photographs.His shooting style is very unique almost too bold and difficult imitated. In a single moment he approaches a passing subject,shots the flash, and moves on to the next subject.His way of shooting,like a magnificent camouflage, sometimes makes the subject cranky. Most of the pictures are imaginative, as there are no faces, just mouths or out of focus. Looking at his pictures I feel exited by the flowing living feeling.
70年代を代表するストリートフォトグラファーMark Cohen。彼の撮り方はとてもユニークで独特。
あまりに大胆で真似できない。道ゆく人にパッと近付きフラッシュを浴びせては、また一瞬で他の被写体へ。
何とも堂々とした盗撮の様なスタイルは時に被写体をムッとさせる。その写真はピントが合ってなかったり口元だけだっまり、大抵が顔が写ってなく想像力を掻き立てられる。見ていて流れる様なライブ感もまたワクワクさせてくれる。

私は同じ街をずっと歩き回ったり、ある男の靴を撮ったりしながらシュルレアリストになった。自分自身何をしているか分からなかった。自分が導かれるままに撮ってきた。
