This morning is for leather care, pen care, and some self care too before we head out for a special day of mama and son quality time. I’m not the only one who has had to process through grief in my dad’s passing. My son has had his own journey with it too. Just because they have little bodies doesn’t mean their capacity to feel, understand and discern is any less than us adults. In fact I’d say that in general I’m much more attuned to my son’s perspective, intuition and thoughts than that of anyone else. It’s unadulterated and without any motive. It’s pure. And it’s something I want to always honor and protect. So today is going to be a bit more off the grid for us. Time is precious, more than we realize, and the moments we’re gifted are the real treasures in life. Sometimes everything else can wait.
