We're excited to partner with @studiomuseum for this year's #MuseumInstaSwap—particularly because we have a history of championing many of the same artists.
This image is from the opening of "Maren Hassinger: Monuments," the Studio Museum in Harlem's new exhibition of site-specific sculptures installed for approximately one year in Marcus Garvey Park.
#MarenHassinger was also included in "The Decade Show: Frameworks of Identity in the 1980s," an exhibition co-organized by the New Museum, the Studio Museum in Harlem, and the Museum of Contemporary Hispanic Art in 1990. Check our story for more on that!
