What. An. HONOR!! ((:0)) I’ve been a part of this festival for over two decades now, & some of my favorite memories have been made right here. So, I am truly, truly honored to receive the “Honorific Medal of the City of Montreux” & to have the main hall dedicated to & named after me. Y’awl simply make my soul smile & I can’t thank you all enough! Montreux remains the Rolls Royce of all festivals & the absolute best place for musicians to share their gifts with the rest of the world, & I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this special place...forever.
