The most significant legacy of Trump, the Republicans, and even Democrats and other world leaders, will
be to have done nothing to deal with climate change.
Sure, there was cop21, which had some noble goals, but no binding actions or commitments.
Over the next 50 years we will see the horrifying unfolding of the climate apocalypse.
Not just rising sea levels, but widespread crop failures, storms of previously unseen strength and magnitude, and
the further spread of zoonotic diseases.
And future generations, assuming there are any, will look back at us in horror, as every single consequence of
climate change could have been prevented and avoided.
We still could deal with climate change, although I doubt that we will.
But, if anyone cares, here’s what we have to do:
1-stop using petroleum products. Petroleum products are responsible for approximately 55% of climate change.
2-stop raising animals for food. Animal agriculture, in direct methane emissions, use of petroleum, and role in rainforest
deforestation, is responsible for approximately 45% of climate change.

But sadly, tragically, based on our past actions we will most likely do nothing, and will ultimately destroy the only home we have.

p.s to put it in perspective, the last time the earth’s climate contained today’s current levels of Co2 sea levels were 230 feet higher.
