I reaaalllly like this sunscreen. A stiff cream (that could benefit from a bit more emollience for the sake of easy application) that dries down to a satin finish relatively quickly and doesn’t dry out my skin throughout the day. Pairs exceptionally well with mineral foundation, either on top or mixed in, especially now that I’ve *finally* found a good match..! This sunscreen is also way easier to remove with a standard makeup remover (gel, oil, balm) than more tenacious, drying, high zinc formulas. Contains 3 plant oils (rosehip, macadamia, baobab), 6 plant extracts (edelweiss, chamomile, sage, saxifrage, aloe vera, bilberry) and vit C derivative MAP that are supposed to ‘protect us from environmental stresses and allergens’ but honestly I don’t give a rat’s ass about that - they’re at the bottom of the INCI list anyway.

Since switching to a completely silicone-free routine in the past two weeks I find that I’m getting way less clogged pores (way less, but not completely eliminated… for now) than I used to despite the lack of PC BHA liquid in my routine for several weeks. I’m way more comfortable not wearing makeup too; a few dustings of powder is good enough. I still have a backlog of sunscreen reviews to post, but I don’t know if I want to spend money trying new silicone-based sunscreens anymore, especially now that I know for sure my face doesn’t like them in hot and humid weather.
